Our policies
What to know before you come. Prices are set by the spa and shown at the front hall.
Booking and deposits
Entry needs no booking and no deposit. Treatments are booked online or by phone, and a single treatment takes no deposit. A group of eight or more holds its tables with a card, and it goes toward the visit.
Canceling and running late
Please tell us a day before a treatment and we will move it or cancel it without trouble. If you arrive late, we shorten the treatment so the next guest isn't kept waiting. If you miss one without telling us, we may charge the card on the booking under terms you see before you confirm.
Children and companions
Guests 16 and older come on their own. Children 6 to 15 come with a parent or guardian who stays with them, and they use the baths with an adult of the same gender, the rest floor, the kitchen and the cool room. The heat rooms are for guests 16 and older. Children under 6 are not admitted. Treatments are for guests 18 and older.
If you're not happy
If you are not happy with a treatment, tell us within a few days and we will make it right: another visit, or a talk about what went wrong.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never added to your bill. Leave one at the front hall for whoever looked after you.
Undressing and draping
For massage and scrub you undress to your comfort. A sheet or towel covers you throughout, and only the part being worked on is uncovered.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Your therapist asks about pressure and areas to avoid before starting, asks before working on a sensitive area, and stops whenever you ask. Tell them if anything is too much.
When to ask your doctor first
Ask your doctor before you come if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or low or high blood pressure, are on a medicine that affects heat, or have been told to take care with heat or deep massage. We may ask you to check before a scrub or a deep tissue massage.
Using the thermal areas
The heat rooms are for guests 16 and older. Wear the uniform and sit on a towel in every heat room; the baths are unclothed, in separate women's and men's areas. Shower first, drink water, and come out when you feel warm. Leave if you feel dizzy or unwell, and tell the front hall.
Phones and quiet
Phones stay in the locker. The front hall has a phone you can use, and we will bring you a message. The rest floor and the heat rooms are kept quiet, and there are no photos anywhere inside.
